We are pleased to announce that Summit has received state and municipal approvals to double the size of its Automation and Engineering facility in Keene, New Hampshire. The 6,400 square feet (ca. 595 m²) of functional design space will support ongoing business activities and new product development projects.
Our Automation Group designs, fabricates, and validates state-of-the-art equipment that supports Summit assembly plants around the globe.
The expansion underscores Summit’s commitment to continuous improvement, scalability, and vertical integration—accommodating the growing demand for our products while enhancing operational efficiency. “It’s a game-changer for our team. The expansion will significantly enhance our ability to innovate and deliver top-quality solutions to our clients,” says Automation and Engineering Manager John Smith. “It will allow Summit to continue expanding our assembly capacities globally, offering competitive pricing and reducing time-to-market for new and existing products,” he adds.
Founded in 1976, Summit Packaging Systems is a leading global valve and actuator manufacturer and distributor. It is privately held, financially stable, and operates from five manufacturing facilities strategically located in the U.S., Europe, and Latin America.
